To form the plural of
some words that end in y, change the y to i then add “es”.
Note: This rule applies if the letter before the “Y” is a
CONSONANT.
The consonants are: b, c, d, f, g, h, j,
k, l, m, n, p, q, r, s, t, v, w, x, y and z.
